KAZUKI SASAKI

Kazuki Sasaki was born in  Sapporo, Japan. At the age of 9 he has performed in recitals and as soloist with omportant Japanese Orchestras, at the age of 12 has received from the Japanese Ministry of Culture  the gold medail  as best young violinist of the Okkaido.

At the age of 19 he has been principal violinist, concert meister and soloist of the  Sapporo Simphony Orchestra and, later, of the Tokyo Simphony Orchestra, he has performed with this orchestra in Japan, Germany and United States. He has been nominated "honorary citizen by the Portland (Oregon) Major for his artistic carrer. He was the fondator, conductor and soloist of the "Baron" chamber orchestra and  of the "Tokyo oboe quartett" performing an intense chamber activity exploring from the baroque to the contemporary repertoire. 

From 1970 since 1972 and from 1980 since now he was principal and soloist violin of the chamber group "I Solisti Veneti". With this group he has performed in the most important concert halls and for the most important festivals in Europe, United States, Japan and far east. 

He has performed as principal violin with the Teatro "La Fenice" Orchestra of Venice and as soloist with the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano.

He has performed numerous radio and tele-recordings in Italy as well as abroad, he has also contributed in the recording of numerous cds in cooperation with wold-wide famous soloists.

He perfomes an intense chamber activity with the "Duo Beethoven", the "Quartetto Rossini" the duo and trio Sasaki, with the trio he has interpreted the Beethoven triple concert  in Japan, and, in Italy, the Brahms sonatas in occasion of the centenary of the composer death in 1997.
