GIUSEPPE FALCO oboist

Giuseppe Falco was born in 1967 and has been graduated in 1985 with honours  and special mention of Ministry of education at the A. Steffani Conservatory  of Castelfranco Veneto.
He studied  with masters L. Lencses and Ingo Goritzky.

He won prizes in many national and international competitions  and in occasion of the   European year of music has been rewarded at the Quirinale Palace in Rome by  the president of the Republic Francesco Cossiga.

He has performed as soloist several radio and tele-recordings for  RAI television, Montecarlo television, Switzerland Television, BBC, Cnn, Korean Television, Japanese and Chinese televisions. I

He is currently performing an intense solistic activity all over the world, in the most prestigious halls  (Carnegie Hall, Mozarteum, Musikverein, Opera of Paris, Lincoln Center, Academy of S. Pietroburgo, Sala Ciaikowskj, Bunka Kaikan, Tokio Suntorj Hall).

He played as principal Oboe in the "Orchestra alla Scala" of Milan and in the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala from 1988 since 1994 under the direction of the greatest conductors of the world: C.Kleiber, C. Abbado, W. Sawallish, G. Solti, L. Maazel, R. Muti, C.M.Giulini, S.Ozawa, L. Berstein, etc

Since 1994 he  plays as first soloist of the SolistiVeneti. 

Since 1995 has begun to collaborate with Orchestra of the Orchestra della Radio-Televisione Svizzera Italiana and since 1998 he performs with the baroque group "Il Proteo" of Sergio Azzolini.

During  2000 he has recorded unedited music of  A. Longo for Oboe and piano with the master  A.Ciccolini. 

Giuseppe Falco teachs in the Istituto pareggiato musicale "A. Peri" of Reggio Emilia.
